Migos: Hip hop group party with Nigerian teens at Beat FM Xmas concert
These young ones within the age bracket of 13 to about 17 fresh out from overseas were the ones vibing to the likes of Migos, Krept & Konan and Wande Coal.
The Beat 99 FM Christmas party 2016 was lit beyond measure in a new dimension.
Young aged kids fresh out the UK were all over the place, vibing to Krept & Konan, Migos and Wstrn’s performances, rapping along to the Hip hop act’s tunes.
Very few of the Nigerian artists that performed resonated with those kids.
Davido performed ‘Coolest kids in Africa’ with Migos on stage, and these kids hardly vibed along with the Omo Baba Olowo surprisingly. The singer perfomed for about five minutes and left the stage.
Migos continued to drive the fans crazy. Krept & Konan, and Westrn also had a good performance.
Wande Coal, Maleek Berry, Lil Kesh, Patoranking and Falz were practically the best Nigerian performing artists on the night., performing their hit songs back to back, and had the fans cheering and wanting more.
Ajebutter 22, performing ‘Bad gang’ with Falz had the fans go wild.
Other acts on the night that performed include Mayorkun, Lola Rae, Dremo, Koker, Dotman, Dice Ailes, Adekunle Gold, Moelogo, Simi, Dammy Krane, LAX, Zoro, Ikechukwu and Praiz among others.
At the end of it, those kids were the Most Valuable Player (MVP) because they showed what a concert really should be like, hands down passionate music loving fans, who are not afraid to show their love for the music and the artistes, whichever way they see fit.
