Jose Mourinho Takes Another Shot At Arsene Wenger After League Clash
Manchester United’s coach, Jose Mourinho has re-ignited the age long war with rival, Arsene Wenger after their teams battled it out at the Old Trafford in a game which ended 1-1.
Jose Mourinho after the match admitted that the draw his team secured at home against the visiting side felt much like a defeat.
This comes after Oliver Giroud snatched the lead from the home team at the 89th minute of the game to draw both teams level.
The game continued Mourinho’s clean sheet against Arsene Wenger who has not managed to defeat the Portuguese coach in their last 12 encounters.
Mourinho after the match said: “It feels like a defeat and, for sure, for Arsenal it feels like a victory.”
He continued: “So finally I lost against Arsenal. Finally I lost against Arsene.
“Of course it is two points dropped.”
Mourinho however admitted that the draw to him “was another defeat.
“They had no chances to win. They could not be Arsenal the way they normally play football. We were phenomenal defensively, the way we pressed and the way we controlled their counter attacks. Then when we had the ball we were very comfortable.
“If you have a bad game, or an equal game against a very good team like Arsenal, you draw and it is not a drama or a bad result because it is normal between two teams.
“But when De Gea was on holidays, when Cech made two or three very good saves or when you miss two or three very good chances and you are in total control [and] then you concede late, then the feeling is like a defeat.”
